You've got Van/Yuri, the morally grey, cool and mature protagonist who's in a bit of a slump in his life at the beginning, Elaine/Flynn, the protagonist's lawful good childhood friend who's worried about the protagonist's lifestyle in a way that annoys the protagonist, and Agnès/Estelle, the naive young lady who enters the protagonist's life by asking for his help and ends up changing his life for the better and being changed for the better herself over the game's course...
