[It was the blue arms that gave it away, wasn't it?] I didn't know you could actually play with the fish-- I mean, outside the touch tanks. Ugh but those are for little kids, right? Yeah. Don’t even bring 'em up. Lame. [He trailed off a little, mostly muttering the last part to himself. He was most certainly, not a little kid! Even if he was, just a little, bit curious about the touch tanks.]
Well, it's my first time too, actually. There aren't any aquariums in Green Hills. unless you count the ones that just sell them as pets. Which brings us to the grand total of one. And they don't even have that much variety, just your usual goldfish and a couple of turtles who look like they're plotting their great escape. They might be slow but they're definitely sneaky, I've seen that first hand.
[Honestly, he had been watching the other hedgehog floating in the air more than the fish-- doing his best to not just stare 'cause that definitely wouldn't have been cool, but it was getting harder to pretend he wasn’t curious (although he had to admit the trick with the twirling fishes was kinda neat).]
So, I've seen flying fish before. In books. Cartoons. But not flying hedgehogs. That's new. And I mean, I've tried it. With mixed results. [Yes. He's counting that one time he somehow managed to glide on the way as a 'maybe'.] Is that, like, a thing you do? Or is this a weird gravity glitch in this part of the aquarium?
